BOARD ELECTION
Fairway Cove is a community overseen by a volunteer board of five elected members. In 2026, there are three (3) seats on the board open for election. Below is general information about this year’s election process, including deadlines, as outlined in Fairway Cove’s Bylaws.
Homeowners can expect to receive at least two mailings with additional information about the Annual Meeting and Board of Directors election. It is important homeowners review the material provided and respond by the assigned deadlines.

Vista Association Management mails Election Ballot and Second Notice of the Annual Membership Meeting. This mailing will include notice of DEADLINE to return signed and sealed ballots. In 2026 there are three (3) vacancies on the board.
It is important to note that ballots are required to have the exact number of votes as there are vacancies, so a ballot is only valid and will only be counted in 2026 if there are no more and no less than three (3) votes. Votes may be cast for any of the listed candidates and/or write-in candidate.
If you are mailing your ballot, they must be returned to Vista’s Office (323 Circle Drive, Maitland, FL 32751) by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Ballots can also be dropped off prior to the Election Committee meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at a time and location that is to be determined and will be posted.
If you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting, it is very important for you to complete and return your proxy. A pre-addressed, return envelope is included in the second notice mailing for your convenience.

Per our governing documents, the Election Committee will meet to formally open and count ballots for the 2026 Board of Directors Election. The members of the Election Committee are Kamil Ince, Belgin Onen, and Frederick Cook. If you are mailing your ballot, they must be returned to Vista’s Office, 323 Circle Drive, Matiland, FL 32751 by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, APril 14, 2026. Ballots may also be dropped off prior to the Election Committee meeting on April 15, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at 6508 Fairway Hill Court, Orlando, FL 32835.

There will be an election this year as there are three (3) openings for the Board of Directors and four (4) eligible volunteers have expressed a desire to serve on the Board. The candidates are: Christopher Benedict, Joyce Holloway, Michelle Richard, Nicole Wilson. Write in candidates will also be accepted. The Election Committee will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 6508 Fairway Hill Court, Orlando, FL 32835 at 12:00 p.m. The members of the Election Committee are Kamil Ince, Belgin Onen, and Frederick Cook.

An Organizational Meeting will be held immediately following the Annual Meeting.
A quorum of the membership must be present for the Annual Meeting to occur. The quorum is not required for an election as per the Association Governing Documents and all ballots will be counted prior to the Annual Meeting at the meeting of the Election Committee.
