Fairway Cove Board to Consider Proposed 2027 Budget
Homeowners will soon receive a copy of the Proposed 2027 Fairway Cove Budget in the mail. Please take a moment to review it and share your questions, comments and ideas with the Board of Directors.
It is important to note this is a draft budget and has not been formally adopted. Vista Community Association Management developed the proposal using financial best practices, prior-year spending, anticipated 2027 operating and service costs, and guidance from the Board.
The proposed budget reflects our continued commitment to fiscal responsibility, thoughtful maintenance and planning for the future of Fairway Cove.
In recent years, the Association has made historic investments in our neighborhood, including extensive landscaping improvements, renovations to the front entrance and exit walls, and other community projects. The budget also takes into account a new agreement with TPG Lighting to provide full services for holiday light decorations every December, adding a professional touch to our holiday light display. By putting previously unspent funds to work and carefully managing expenses, we have advanced these improvements while keeping assessment increases modest. From 2025 to 2026, quarterly assessments increased by approximately $12.
That same thoughtful approach continues as we plan for 2027. The Board is considering opportunities to improve the community, including potential upgrades to the security camera system, additional landscaping enhancements and other projects that could provide value to homeowners. These possibilities remain under consideration, and proposed budget figures may change before adoption.
