MetroWest Community Town Hall to Focus on Proposed Camera Initiative

The MetroWest Master Association (MWMA) will host a Community Town Hall on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the MetroWest Country Club.

A significant aspect of this meeting will be a MetroWest Community Camera Initiative, a program intended to support community safety, crime prevention, traffic and roadway monitoring, and broader situational awareness throughout MetroWest.

The Town Hall is expected to include presentations and discussion regarding proposed camera locations, technology capabilities, privacy protections, data security measures, and potential partnerships involving residents and local businesses. Organizers also indicated that future expansion opportunities may be discussed as part of the initiative’s long-term planning.

The meeting comes at a time when the Fairway Cove Board of Directors is independently researching options related to upgrading the community’s existing camera system. As a result, the June 11 Town Hall may provide residents with additional information regarding current technologies, regional safety initiatives, and considerations related to camera implementation and management.

MWMA representatives stated that residents, businesses, and community stakeholders will have an opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback, and participate in discussions regarding the proposed initiative.
