Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Two Ways to Give Back This Holiday Season

As the holiday season approaches, we have two opportunities to come together as neighbors and make a difference for families in our community.

Cindy Dulmage and Nicole Wilson are coordinating a series of support drives, including a November Food Drive supporting Give A Little Louder, and a December Toy Drive supporting Toys for Tots.

Last year, Fairway Cove homeowners contributed more than 400 food items for Give A Little Louder and dozens of toys for Toys for Tots. Thank you to everyone who contributed! This year, we hope you’ll join us again—or participate for the first time—to help make the season brighter for even more families.

For more information, to volunteer, or to discuss a financial contribution, please contact Cindy (CDulmage2001@yahoo.com) about the food drive or Nicole (NicoleFairwayCove@gmail.com) about the toy drive directly.

Thank you for helping us give back!

November Food Drive: Give A Little Louder

Saturday, November 7 | 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Location: In front of the pond

Homeowner Cindy Dulmage, of 6654 Cristina Marie, is coordinating our November food drive in support of Give A Little Louder. Based in MetroWest, this local nonprofit is dedicated to fighting food insecurity in our community and is a partner of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Please consider donating nonperishable food items, such as canned goods, boxed pasta and other pantry staples. A few items from each household can add up to meaningful support for our neighbors.

December Toy Drive: Toys for Tots

Saturday, December 12 | 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Location: In front of the pond

HOA Vice President Nicole Wilson, of 6657 Cristina Marie, is coordinating our December toy drive in support of Toys for Tots, an official United States Marine Corps program that helps collect and distribute toys for millions of children each year.

We invite you to donate new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls from infancy through age 18. Your gift can help bring a little joy to a child this holiday season.

Whether you can donate food or a toy, volunteer your time, or make a financial contribution, we hope you’ll consider taking part. Every act of generosity helps, and together we can show what a caring community can accomplish.
